Origami Slab Plate

Clay and glaze. This piece is made out of one slab-rolled piece shaped in a square. The corners were cut until an appropriate sized square was made in the middle. After, the sides were scored on the back and front of some corners and put together to make a bowl. It has a blue glaze with a large white L in the center.

Clay and glaze. My first project that I completed in ceramics was a symbolism triangle- Quadfecta. It is made of five slab-rolled pieces, three of them being rectangular and two of them triangular, made of earthenware joined together by scoring and slipping. It is finished with a brown glaze on three of the five sides, on the top is a small pinch-pot turtle that is green and below its feet is a light green glaze.
