This piece uses underglaze to highlight the natural beauty terracotta in the form of a whimsical mushroom that will house a bird if placed outside. The inspiration for this piece was a fairy garden which uses the magic of nature to make a unique and special place. The vines twisting up the sides of the walls and the mushroom roof show this inspiration, a functional birdhouse that will be at home in the forest alongside the pinetrees and red rock of North AZ.
