Natalie Villafuerte

Name Plate Clay and glaze	Terracotta Birdhouse Terracotta clay and underglaze. This was my first time making a birdhouse, and I think it has to be my favorite thing I made this year. It took longer than I wanted it to to carve out all the small details into it, but it adds a lot of character and charm to it, and I’m very happy with how it turned out.	Vessel Clay and glaze
Sgraffito Mug Clay and underglaze	Koi Fish Clay and glaze. Making a koi fish in class was always something I wanted to try out, and one day I found the time. I’m a little sad that the colors turned out duller/green (that’s what I get for painting on top of white glaze), but it still looks pretty good and I’m happy I made it. My table and I named it Ponyo Delta Tag Weston.	Hand with Eyes Coaster Clay and underglaze. This was my super cool piece of the year, and out of everything I’ve made I use it the most. It was supposed to be my semester 1 finals, but I couldn’t make it then so I made it the next semester. I think it turned out super cool and I would’ve been bummed if I didn’t make it at all.
