Inspired by the pop art movement of the 1950s, this oversized piece of cake is supposed to represent how art can be made out of everyday objects in life. |  My Life in a BoxClay and glaze. Created by combining 5 slabs together to form a triangular box, symbols that represent my life and me as a person were either added on top of the sides to create a 3D effect or etched into the sides. The music notes represent my love for music, the lipstick my hobby of doing makeup, the coffee cup my favorite drink, the lizard a homage to my pet gecko, and the rose being my favorite flower. |
